The nearest bus stop is in Dolgellau town centre, just a short walk from the Royal Ship, with regular services stopping in the square. The closest train station is in Machynlleth, from which you can take a connecting bus or taxi into town.

We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before your booking. If your plans change, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. To cancel your booking, please contact the hotel directly. If your reservation was made through an online travel agent such as Booking.com or Expedia, cancellations must be processed through their platform.
Guests are welcome to check in from 3:00pm onwards, giving you plenty of time to settle in and make yourself at home. On the day of departure, we kindly ask that you check out by 11:00am so we can prepare the room for our next guests.
Yes, we’re a dog-friendly venue and welcome well-behaved dogs in designated areas of the pub and certain bedrooms. Please note that not all of our rooms are dog friendly, so it's important to let us know at the time of booking to ensure availability. A small charge applies for dog stays.
